Simons' Fourth Grade

Hello!

Welcome to our fourth-grade class. My name is Betsy Simons, and I am incredibly proud to be your teacher this year. Let me share a bit about myself and what you can expect from our time together.

 

I have been a resident of Castle Rock for 22 years. Colorado is my home; it's where I was born, went to high school, and pursued my undergraduate and graduate education. I truly can't imagine living anywhere else.

Outside of the classroom, I have a loving husband named Jason and a wonderful daughter named Ella. Jason works for Nissan, and Ella is starting her Senior Year at Douglas County High School. As a mother, I am thrilled to support Ella's growth, and I'm equally excited to support each and every one of you in reaching your full potential.

​

I'm honored to have won the Apple Award nomination for Sage Canyon in 2021, and it motivates me even more to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Parents, I value your partnership and insights greatly. You know your children best, and together, we will ensure they have all the support they need to succeed.

​

Being a teacher brings me joy, and I want you to know that I am here for all of you. School can be an exciting and challenging experience, and it's okay to have different feelings about learning. My goal is to make this year the best it can be for each student. I encourage you to work hard, communicate with me, and push yourselves to be your best. It won't always be easy, but I promise to be there to support and guide you every step of the way.

Our classroom is a place of flexibility and adaptability. I will listen to your needs and preferences, and together, we will explore the methods that work best for you. You are unique, and I am here to help you discover your strengths and unlock your full potential.

Your parents are my invaluable partners in your education. They know you best, and I will be working closely with them to ensure you have all the support you need to succeed.
